Hoofcare 2007, the biennial European Conference for Cattle Hoof Trimmers to be held in Cheshire, UK from 1-4 July 2007, is pleased to announce sponsorship deals with leading European/US company Vettec and the Nantwich Veterinary Group, UK.
Conference organiser Stella Whyte says “We welcome leading hoofcare technology company Vettec onboard. Their innovative products such as Bovi-Bond are of great interest to hoof trimmers as they offer an easy-to-dispense, fast setting, no mixing and no waste solution to gluing blocks to bovine hooves.”
The Nantwich Veterinary Group is providing biosecurity and veterinary guidance for the event, to be held at Reaseheath College in Cheshire, during the practical workshop-style demonstrations of the latest hoof-trimming equipment and techniques. Exhibits are expected to include demonstrations of hoof trimming equipment (including crushes) not yet seen in Europe. “We take the issue of biosecurity very seriously and are delighted that the Nantwich Veterinary Group are able to bring their expertise as one of the largest dairy practices in the country to our event,” continues Stella.
Hoofcare 2007 is attracting the interest of members of European hoof trimming associations, independent hoof trimmers and many others working within the field of bovine health such as vets and nutritionists. They will be coming together to hear the latest research, discuss issues of practical interest and review the implications of European directives on the industry as a whole.
Delegates will also have open access to the exhibition centre where company sponsors will be showcasing some of the best and most innovative products and equipment for the professional hoof trimmer and bovine specialist.
More information on the international speaker line up as well as online delegate and sponsor registration is available at www.hoofcare2007.com or by contacting Stella Whyte.
